ASUS 13.3" UX303UB Multi-Touch Notebook

High resolution at a cost. The UX303 series has been around since the days of Sandy Bridge, but this is the first Skylake QHD model to make it into our labs. Unfortunately, the upgrade comes with a couple of consequences.

  no major use of PWM for QHD configuration, very high resolution panel, full CPU and GPU performance whilst running Unigine Heaven, easy end-user maintenance, dual video-out; included VGA and RJ-45 adapters

  reduced brightness, color accuracy, and contrast compared to FHD SKU, response times could have been better, no M.2 storage options, GPU can be get quite warm, no USB Type-C port

Generally, when you find us complaining about how far cards stick out from the SD slot, it's a sign that we don't have much else to complain about. That's true when it comes to the UX303UB.

Asus Zenbook UX303UB is a good enough choice to consider if you’re trying to look beyond the HP or Dell series.

Even though it is only a 2 core CPU it still runs well on VMware, I use it to manage between 3 VMware machines and they run at decent speeds main usage in this is the 12GB RAM which makes the use of these fairly good.

  - Touch pad clicking is a bit noisy (if you ever use it), - SSD only writes up to 490MB/s speed... (unless you change the ssd for a new one)

I would absolutely recommend this item to anyone wanting a powerful, quiet, computer. The minor cons stated aren't bad, per se, but annoying enough, at this price point, to deduct an egg.

  -***While the touchscreen itself is great, the screen wobbles alot, due to smaller/weaker hinges, this makes using the touchscreen a bit counter intuitive due to the significant movement -Asus has a habit of applying multiple stickers with ridiculous amount of adhesive backing so when you peel them...

I was between this one and macbook pro 13. Price was the decisor, Performs well, fast, seems well built. 4 stars instead of 5 cause image doent impress me, pixels ar ok, brighness not as mac but nice anyway
