Slim and classy. The Zenbook's special feature is its high-resolution QHD+ panel (3200x1800 pixels). It provides a razor-sharp image, but its contrast is weak. Everything is in line beyond that: Fast SSD, long battery life, decent keyboard.

matte screen, runs noiselessly, low temperature development, decent keyboard, good battery life, Fast SSD
-
-
screen's middling contrast, no keyboard backlight
The Asus ZenBook UX305CA is a well-made midrange ultraportable with an aluminum body, a full HD touch screen, good performance, and plenty of features at a very affordable price.

Nice price. Quality aluminum build. Sleek design. Solid performance on our benchmark tests.

No keyboard backlighting. Lacks Ethernet ports.
All three machines, our ZenBook included, are nice laptops in their own right. Granted, both of the non-Core M laptops are a little faster, and they deliver decent battery life. But we found a lot to like about the ZenBook we tested, especially if the $100 difference is a big factor in your buy.

Thin, light, attractive, Comfortable keyboard and touch pad, Strong battery life, Fanless and quiet, Good value for the money

Modest CPU, GPU performance, Keyboard not backlit, No touch screen
The Asus ZenBook UX305CA is a laptop for shoppers who care more about portability and endurance than sheer power. Other pluses include the bright and colorful full HD matte display, comfy keyboard and fairly low $699 price.
The Asus ZenBook UX305CA is an evolutionary update to an already nice product, but this is one of cases in which that’s a (mostly) good thing. The ZenBook’s design and build quality are as good in this year’s model as they were in the previous edition, so we’re not surprised that many of the new or...
The Asus UX305CA is a very likeable laptop that doesn't break the bank. Currently available for under £600, this 13.3in machine offers a full Windows 10 experience in an ultra-thin, highly-portable form factor that looks and feels more expensive than it is.

Stylish, thin and light, High-resolution 13.3in display, Silent, fanless design, Comfortable keyboard, Three USB 3.0 ports, Available for under £600

Touchscreen upgrade is pricey, Throttles during taxing workloads, Pesky bloatware
The Asus ZenBook UX305CA is one of Asus' top laptops, with a stunning design, top-notch build quality and a great 3K screen, but its lack of storage space and annoying trackpad stops it short of full marks.
I would definitely recommend this to ANYONE looking for portability, mid-range performance and cost-effective computing. At it's price-point, there's not much out there that can begin to compare. Well worth it's price and is an excellent productivity based ultrabook which is very versatile.

-Weight / Size proportions are excellent. -1920x1080p Matte display on a 13.3" display is much nicer than I anticipated. -Comfortable key travel for such a small device. -Trackpad is very precise and responsive. -Much faster than expected.
-

-Keys aren't backlit, which isn't a horrible negative, but would've been nice to have on a few occasions. I type without looking, but initial hand placement sometimes got me off track for a moment late at night without my lights on. -Trackpad is touchy when the lid is closed.
This is a pretty good laptop. It's super light and portable, it works well and it's easy to navigate. However, the speakers are awful! Even with the speakers on 100% you can barely hear anything. I would use my money for something better.
