Acer 276HK ymjdpprz 27" Widescreen LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Part of the screen is covered by the bessel :( While this may be OK for watching movies it is a problem when using applications in full screen mode. THIS IS NOT A TV ITS A MONITOR. On my macbook pro the bar at the top of the screen is only half visible.

Main issue I have with it is the inability to select the input--it automatically scans ( a process which can take up to two minutes) any time signal is gone....which includes whenever the computer restarts, or there is an error on screen that you are oh-so-desparately trying to read.

Loving this monitor. Coming from 1080P to this is a crazy step up. I'm fine playing games with 60hz. Leo Bodnar input lag tester shows only an average of 11 milliseconds of input lag. Great for games and videos also a lot of space to work with. Best monitor i bought for the price.

Fantastic display, great image quality for a TN panel. I use this for business applications, under Windows 10, and for these uses, the display is fantastic. I don't play any games so can't comment on gaming performance, but for business apps, this unit is terrific.

Good value for money. Some issues with flicker. Monitor has difficulty connecting to some devices, requiring power on-off of monitor, the search for input takes longer than many laptops timeout, so a little tricky at times.

For the money (I paid $299), this is a decent 4K monitor. The color does look good, and the screen height/angle adjustment is a nice feature. That said, I do have a few complaints: 1.

Update: I dropped it to 3 stars because coming out of sleep has gotten worse. I have to turn the monitor off and on again to get it to come back up (`10 seconds). I used to skip the screen saver and just turn the displays off after 5 minutes.

UPDATE: The Surface Dock/Surface Pro 4 now supports this display perfectly now - no USB disconnecting any more, resolution stays put after sleep/wakeup. Guess Microsoft is to blame. I like how tall the display can adjust.

I would not recommend this monitor. Surprisingly, there aren't more dead pixels (maybe they're just harder to notice with 4k). The dust specks and the constant auto-detect cycle are too much for a $500 monitor.

  The auto-detect input cycle is infuriating. I only use one input and every time I turn on the monitor, it takes 10 seconds to cycle through all the inputs before settling on the only one I use. There is no way to disable this feature, or to manually switch inputs.

Great price performer.
