Owning a pair of ADAMs for less than $600 is now possible and, trust us, the small A3X are surprising. The low-frequency response is very powerful, considering their size, and the X-ART tweeter produces a very detailed sound.

Almost no acoustic correction possible, A bit of masking in the low end, and the mids are a bit weak
These speakers were just what I was looking for, just the right sound & size for a small mix room. I drive them using an RME Babyface and Samplitude Pro X software, giving me a pretty streamlined setup. The A3X is not overly bright or dark, sits nicely in the midrange.
we were looking for a nice set of powered speakers for a small classroom and the Adam A3X really fit the bill. They have a great overall frequency response with lots of headroom for those times we have to "crank it up".
I've used Dynaudio BM6 before. A3X is quite comparable to BM6 with less than half price and sometimes I guess it's even better in highs. I was planning to buy Sub7 but now I wonder if the sub is really necessary. Bass is pretty "listenable" although it doesn't go deep down.
