I like the sound of it but they are really heavy and on long sessions it kills you!
What's to say? Industry-standard for a reason. I swap between these and my DT250s for a contrasting perspective. Very functional-looking but do you want to get the job done or look good while you get it done wrong?
Great heavy duty studio workhorse but not a favourite for listening to music or long hours of wearing. The DT770 are more hifi and comfortable as are the AKG k271 MkII
fab! (a spare mini-jack to jack adaptor wouldnt go amiss?)
used in home envionment, spares available for every part of headphone, other reviews say no deep bass but it I did not notice.
You can spend a lot of money on headphones. Fine if you're Dr. Dre or a Premiership footballer, but most of us aren't. These cans have been industry standard for a LONG time and they're actually in the price range of mere mortals, so why spend so much more?
These are the industry standard headphones for a reason. They're so comfy for long term use, sound quality is true to life with no biases at either end of the EQ spectrum. Not only that, but the cord is straight, nice and long for professional use across studio floors or around equipment without...
I use it for more than 15 years without pb. This is the SM57 headphones without major defects to the decision, beefy, uneventful. This is the anti stereo headset that eyeful. Ulra realistic and unpretentious. A classic pro studio base.
I have had a pair of these headphones for 20 years now and they haven changed a bit i just had to replace the cushions but they have changed a bit i love them, i would recommend these to any one that wants studio quality headphone
Ever since I became interested in hifi 40 years ago, the Beyer DT100 headphones have been the benchmark....nothing has changed in that respect
