Powerful lows and crisp, bright highs with no distortion at top volumes. Exceedingly comfortable. Best noise-cancellation technology available. Can be used as passive headphones without power.
-
-
Runs on a AAA battery rather than a built-in, rechargeable option. Sculpted sound signature is not for purists. No auto-off function.
"The QC25 widens Bose's significant lead in noise-canceling technology, though it trails some other competitive 'phones on sound quality."

The best noise-canceler, period!, Headphones can play after batteries are drained, Light and very comfortable

Sound quality isn’t stellar
The QuietComfort 25 model takes Bose's already stellar noise-canceling headphones and levels them up to new heights.

Extra-comfortable design; clearer, more dynamic sound; highly effective noise-canceling circuitry that's been slightly improved; new folding design allows the headphones to fit in a smaller carrying case; if the battery dies, the music now doesn't die; 21- to 30-day risk-free home trial.

Fairly pricey.
After going through many headphones, including the Bowers & Wilkins C5 S2, Bowers & Wilkins P3, Sennheiser Momentum M2 AEi as well as a pair of Westone W40s, I'm mightily impressed by the Bose QC25.

Very good noise cancellation, tonally balanced, very neutral response; relatively good soundstage, superb bass response!

Upper treble extension could be slightly better.
Since their introduction in 2009, the Bose QuietComfort 15 have been the premier headphones for anyone who wanted the best in active noise-cancelling headphones. Even as many competitors tried to take the crown, the QC15s remained on top.

Noise Cancelers for Loud Environments Only It needs to be said right off the bat, the fidelity of reproduction with noise canceling headphones is generally not very good. But that's not the point.
Active noise cancellation doesn’t come cheap in headphones, so it’s not a big surprise that one of the biggest brands when it comes to ANC headphones isn’t exactly known for being easy on the wallet.
When it comes to trusted audio equipment names, few match the reputation of industry stalwart Bose. Since the company first dipped its toes into the tranquil waters of noise-cancelling gear in 2000, it's over-ear QuietComfort headphone line has evolved to become recognized as some of the best in the...

Bose has long-held the title of the maker of the best active noise-cancelling headphones available, per reviewers of a wide variety of publications and from a range of backgrounds.
The sound quality was good and the noise cancellation was good.....but it is most surprising that a headphone with the Bose brand on it at a premium price just broke into pieces after 3 years of use. First crack and breakage at the extension point on the head.

With my new job I am traveling close to 70% of the time. I wanted a product that could help me enjoy music without maxing the volume out to overcome the ambient noise on an airplane. The QC 25's did not fail to impress.

Bought these for my husband, who travels for work. He's not had to use them yet, but I've been using them to watch Netflix on my iPad while he's watching the bowl games on TV. When I put them on the first time, I listened without the noise cancelling, and while the TV was well muffled, I could still...
Gave this to bf as a Valentine's+Birthday present, he loves it. The sound is great! The headphones feel slightly snug when music is not on, but once the music comes on, the headphone works perfect. It will be great for traveling. It was rated the best noise cancellation headphones by CNET.
I work in IT as a primary source of income and can spend a lot of time in the data center. I have a very nice set of Peltor Optime 105 ear muffs and it was I that brought them into the work place originally because I use them at home when running the power equipment – I rate these at 5 stars as...
I was hoping these headphones would have 4 key qualities: 1) Good sound - they're excellent. Love 'em. It's a very smooth, full, balanced acoustic. Natural. 2) Comfortable - very 3) Good noise suppression - beyond my expectations. I haven't yet challenged them on a plane, however.
Love the headphones, were originally for me. My grandson, whom has a coclear implant due to deafness loves them. Over his ear and able to fit over his
