This is so easy to fly. Charged battery, installed app and away she flew. I bought this to pair with my DSLR to make short films. Having a drone like this will give my movies size and scope - thus making them appear to be made on a bigger budget then they were. Took my buddy out and he fell in love.

Top resolution is 2.7k 30fps just to clear up the product descriptions of other listings (pun intended)--I don't believe DJI makes a 1080p only version, but this is indeed a replacement camera for the phantom 3 advanced.

This drone is awesome, especially for the price. I was afraid I would miss not having the 4K camera and the extended range, but I can honestly say that I don't miss them too much. There is just so much to love about this drone. The HUD on the iphone app is amazing, and gives lots of detail.

Nice camera but a little pricey for an HD, no memory card and most important, no fan on the camera. This will heat up. Will have to do till I can get a 4K

Bought for our 9 year old. Was worried it would be too complicated, but he was flying it in no time. Looks sturdy, controls are easy to understand. Highly recommend.

Great camera, but not level with the horizon. Even after recallibrating before takeoff, I still have to keep adjusting it when flying. Very annoying. Still a good camera though.

Fantastic drone. Very easy to fly. I strongly recommend first viewing the numerous youtube videos about setup, flight tips, etc. They are very helpful. I spent a few hours viewing the videos and reading reviews before flying because you cannot afford even one mistake.

The DJI Phantom 3 Standard is everything a beginner and a seasoned veteran R/C'er will want. It will fly itself, take off and even land by itself if you want. If not, you can man the controls and fly with or without gps assistance. The camera is clear and responsive. Don't hesitate to buy this.
