The Dell Chromebook 11 is an affordable 11-inch Chrome OS laptop that offers excellent battery life, good overall performance, and a durable construction.
-
+
Affordably priced. Durable construction. Excellent battery life.
-
-
No touch screen. Narrow viewing angles on display.
The Dell Chromebook 11 from last year was so popular that it was frequently out of stock on Dell’s website. It had the performance to keep up with a dozen tabs, a great screen, and long battery life.
-
+
Rugged design, Great keyboard, Clear, loud speakers
-
-
Performance is lacking, Chassis attracts junk, Twitchy trackpad
The Dell Chromebook 11 is a good, if a bit mixed, device. In some areas it excels with its additional 2 GB of RAM over most other models, the solid trackpad and two USB 3.0 ports instead of just the one USB port found on most Chromebooks.
-
+
Good Multitasker, Inexpensive, ChromeOS
-
-
Awful speakers, Flimsy keys, Poor display
The challenge going forward with Chromebooks will be how to make them more powerful without driving up their affordable prices. At $379, the new Dell Chromebook 11 is $30 more than the Acer Chromebook C720 with the same CPU but the Dell offers much longer battery life.
After testing the HP Chromebook 11 LTE, the only suggestion we can make for improvement would be the addition of WWAN support for times when (or rather, places where) no Wi-Fi hotspot is available.
-
+
Good expansion options, Impressive performance
-
-
Middling display with mediocre viewing angles, Lackluster Webcam
Chrome OS has been around for a number of years, but every Chromebook released so far has required that you make some significant compromises when you buy it. That hasn’t stopped me from recommending Chromebooks in the past — I really liked Acer’s C720 last year — but the Dell is on a different...

+
Snappy performance, Solid build quality, All-day battery life
-
-
A little heavy, Screen could be better, Noisy fans
Dell launched their 11-inch Chromebook focused on the educational market awhile back, but they just bumped up the specs to include a speedy Intel Core i3 processor running on the Haswell architecture, which gives users great performance and all day battery life.
-
+
Speedy powerful specs, Great keyboard, Spacious and responsive trackpad, Durable build quality, Excellent battery life
-
-
Dim reflective display, Slightly expensive
The Dell Chromebook 11 is a good, if a bit mixed, device. In some areas it excels with its additional 2 GB of RAM over most other models, the solid trackpad and two USB 3.0 ports instead of just the one USB port found on most Chromebooks.

Good Multitasker, Inexpensive, ChromeOS

-
Awful speakers, Flimsy keys, Poor display
It has its weaknesses, but the Dell Chromebook 11 remains an excellent device for those who need a well-priced, practical laptop that's tough enough to cope with a bit of rough and tumble.
As far as Chromebooks go, I think the Dell Chromebook 11 is one of the better devices you can buy without spending $1000 on a Chromebook Pixel. While Intel's Celeron N2840 is more like an Atom chip, it's still perfectly sufficient for the tasks that users will perform on a Chromebook.
when it first arrived the screen was coming off the back I guess I got a defective unit, anyway a couple squirts of super glue and it has been working great since
