It just keeps getting better and better for EVGA lately. They picked a real winner of a platform, and are laughing all the way to the bank. You just know the competition over at Seasonic, Antec, and Corsair are all pulling their hair out right now trying to figure out how in Hades this platform can...

If you don't know why you need a 1200 watt PSU, don't buy one. For those of you who do need one, this is a good one. Minor note, the PSU will be extremely loud out of the box. It is important that you flip the switch on the back of it underneath the power cable to change from full fan mode to smart...
Felt i was going to need more power then the 1k ps that i normally buy. The system its powering is a 1950x oc to 3.95g with 3 1080 ti vc.At full bore this system can easily pull 1100 watts. Had zero issues with it so far. I would have gotten a 1600w or even the 1300w if one had been available.
Fits superbly in my Thermaltake View 51. Very user-friendly install with the mod cables. However, one must be very aware to make sure cables are very securely seated. It is easy, (with any modular based PSU), to think you have securely placed your cables with quick snap.
Power supply works great and cane with way more cords then I Will need buy you never know upgrade options
I am going to give this product a 2 star rating for now. I purchased this power supply in early May. I finally put my new pc together over the last 3 weeks. PC worked for 2 days, then the PC just powered off and wouldn't come back up. Only the RAM sticks lit up.
excellent product the best power supply on the market
This PSU even comes with its own testing adapter to make sure it's functioning properly (even works on other PSUs). Make sure to use its stock cables, I tried using some stock corsair cables with it and it prevented my computer from booting up.
