coffees come out much colder than the previous model of this same machine. either the new thermostat is weaker or the new boiler is not as good. we still have the older accademia, and it puts out much hotter coffee. and yes, we did go through the settings and put on highest temp.

Had my previous coffee machine for 10 years and really worried when it finally failed after daily use. This machine has more than replaced it is both quality, versatility and taste! Perfect!

My first experience with coffee making (except for percolator and drip types). We’re getting ahead of the learning curve using either ground or bean coffees in the Accademia. Fine tuning is next step. Wife and I drink coffee black.

Awesome machine! I had a fully manual espresso machine and use a separate coffee grinder which takes a bit of time to get me my coffee fix. This machine saves me a ton of time in the morning now and gets me caffeinated in no time! A bit on the expensive side but well worth it!

Worked just like the video. By the 5th cup, the Academia was making near perfect espresso. Amazingly easy interface. Love the auto milk frothing feature.

great quality once you figure out how to work it. I use it every day, it rinses and you have to dump the water tray every two cups of coffee which used to bug me at first but the coffee tastes great and it beats going to the coffee shop to buy every morning.

I absolutely love this coffee machine! It makes amazing coffee, is super easy to work and I haven't been to Starbucks since I got it 10 months ago!

This is my second espresso machine and I have owned the Accademia for several months now and absolutely love it. I've read several reviews indicating that the machine is high maintenance and can be unreliable... this is contrary to my experience.

Great machine, makes a phenomenal coffee. Everything from Ristrettos, Espressos, Lungos, to milk drinks. Love the ability to customize the brew options to bring the best out of your beans to suit your individual taste. But the ability to "push button, get coffee" is awesome too.

This is my second Accademia. The first ran without issue for 7.5 years and 17,000 coffees. It is now in the shop for what the man tells me is a $300 fix. Bought the new model and love it. Easy to use and large beverage selection. I like being able to tweak each brew and save it to ‘my favorites’.
