The card performs well with various games. I also played around with bitcoin mining, and it gets hot, but not overly hot to be concerned. I also did some machine learning model training with GPU with TensorFlow The thing that keeps this from 5 stars is that when installing/upgrading the NVIDIA...
I'm pretty sure this card is totally rad for gaming. However I'm not using it for gaming I'm using it for deep learning. This card is not designed for high densities. Two cards in a case max. I'm running 4. The fan shroud is not designed for 4 cards to be right next to one another.
3 When you use all of the fans, the sound is a little louder. but It's okay for the price. And I am using the EX3501R monitor However, I think there is a problem with the HDMI port between GTX1080ti and EX3501R It does not go up more than 60 frames when using HDMI port.
Bought this card today at Fry's to replace my GTX 980 and let me tell you, the difference is smashing! Running The Witcher 3 in the exact same machine, running an old i5 4690K cpu with stock cooling. Not overclocked. My previous GTX 980 could run ultra settings at 60fps in 1080p/FullHD.
The card sacrifices some physical aesthetics to bring you powerful, no holds bar performance. I've been running this with a Ryzen 1800x and it has not disappointed. It runs Rise of the Tomb Raider at 3840 x 2160 with the settings turned to max at around 40-50 FPS.
As expected. This things kills every game you through at it on Ultra. Love it.
Did not get the product. The box came, I opened it and Instead of the product the box was full of clay. Would not buy again
Of course the gaming performance is amazing - there's no getting around that. However, the noise level is CRAZY loud. I had an EVGA 980 Ti before this card and the difference is nuts.
So I am pretty certain it is just the card, but this card has some weird issues. SPECIFICALLY with YouTube video streaming; you WILL get artifacting around 5-20 second area of a video for about 5-10 seconds and it gets really annoying.
Amazing video card runs like dream and is super quiet
