The 55UH7700 makes a great first impression thanks to its glinting metallic design and welcoming webOS menu system. It even looks like a good value at $999, too, considering it supports high dynamic range and native 4K playback. Sadly, though, turn it on and things go downhill fast.

We’ve had this tv for a bit now and it has worked so great. The picture quality is Amazing, crisp & clear. Takes a little bit to get use to the remote control. Overall the functions and everything work great. After awhile the main board went out and the backlights.

From great to greater we're going to enjoy this lg65sj8500 compared to the older 48" Sony xbr which was a mighty fine product. We worked through all the refinements and now have an unbelievable tv experience. Bigger is better don't let anyone lead you to think differently.

Upside: Great picture and functionality. Downside: no channel adjustment for the sound. Background music frowns out the voice portion of broadcasts. Tried every available setting and the automatic room settings, but end up turning closed captioning to get the voice portion of many shows.

I bought this TV a year ago and intentionally waited a year to review it. I wanted to see how it performed in my lifestyle of TV use, which is heavy. I use it for watching TV, gaming, and web access, and I love the built-in Netflix and Amazon Prime app buttons right on the remote.

Great product for the price, I see what the reviews say about the black issues but a little fiddling around with the settings and the issue is barely noticeable. this tv works best in a daylight situation. the black issues would be more noticeable in a dark room watching dark content.

I bought this product over 3 months ago and it’s amazing, being able to watch tv over internet with tv plus and all the other features from Alexa, speak to search and just overall all simplicity of the layout!

Colors are bright and vivid. 4k content in playstation 4 pro games looks amazing, especially when the HDR effect lights up. Games like Far Cry 4 are a stunner. Has all the major apps like Netflix and vudu built in so accessibility is easy, and the voice controlled remote makes it even more...

I have just recently updated to an LG 55" C9 OLED.. The 55UH7700 is being passed off to a family member in need of a better TV. I can't speak more highly of my old tv, it still looks amazing and it served me well. Even today, this tv looks better than a lot of the TVs I see on the market.

Was really happy for the first 4-5 months, after that time TV started to disconnect from network and forgetting credentials for wifi when a) streaming locally b) watching apps like youtube for kids. Additionally remote flakes out and becomes very slow to respond.

I love the overall look of the tv. It has a nice thin border and sleek screen. The picture is great, although it is my first 4k tv, so i dont have much experience to really compare it to anything else. Sound is good, gets plenty loud.
