The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 is an excellent business-oriented convertible-hybrid laptop with best-in-class performance in a lightweight, but sturdy, body.

  • +

Excellent productivity and graphics performance. Long battery life. Vibrant 1080p screen. Lightweight build. Snappy AccuType keyboard. Built-in stylus.

  • -

Mediocre results on some multimedia tests.

Does the Yoga 260 follow in the footsteps of the ThinkPad X250? Is it the better ThinkPad subnotebook thanks to its various modes? Lenovo provides reasons for criticism. This is surprising and unexpected in view of the otherwise apparently 100% well-conceived ThinkPad.

  • +

excellent input devices + stylus, bright, matte touchscreen, interfaces + docking port, low noise, extensively configurable, security features

  • -

heavy CPU throttling, TFT's color reproduction, "predetermined breaking point" on chassis, slightly distorted microphone recordings, poor webcam

One thing that’s for sure, though, is that we have no trouble converting all the ThinkPad Yoga 260’s positive marks—as a laptop, and as a sometimes-tablet—into a well-deserved Editor's Choice.

  • +

Excellent keyboard and touch pad, Beautiful IPS display, Long battery life

  • -

Light, but not light enough to replace a dedicated tablet, Options bump up the price quickly, No more 2.5-inch drive bay

Productivity-minded users will find a lot to like in the ThinkPad Yoga 260, thanks to a fantastic keyboard, touchpad and stylus combination that makes writing (or drawing) a pleasure.

For the business person on the go, this is a great solution, especially if you have an intimate presentation. Using tablet or tent mode is a nice feature for that purpose.

  • +

Lightweight, tough, great screen, ultra portable and dual use laptop/tablet mode.

  • -

Extra software not needed, easily uninstalled but still annoying.

In short, the ThinkPad Yoga 260 is arguably the best business 2-in-1 currently on the market when you consider cost, portability, durability, security, active pen input and port selection.

  • +

Business class build quality, Impressively thin and light for its specs, Great keyboard and TrackPoint controls

  • -

Battery life could be better, Pen is a little small for adult hands, Wide bezel around the screen

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 is a welcome addition to Lenovo's line-up of business-class laptops and serves as one of the firm's most versatile solutions to date. In addition to offering the build quality, comfortable keyboard and styling you'd come to expect from a ThinkPad, the Yoga 260 bolsters its...

  • +

Robust build quality, Class-leading keyboard, Versatile usage scenarios, Stylus is a genuine value-add, Powerful Intel Core processor, Good connectivity options

  • -

Display could be better, Not ideal as a tablet

Lenovo has a new flexible and relatively small business laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad YOGA 260. This particular model is for the worker who is frequently on the go — no one wants to lug a heavy computer through the airport, for example.

Just another black box. That's how the uninitiated tend to describe Lenovo's ThinkPad series of devices. Those of us who've spent more than a passing moment kno

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 tugs at my purse-strings in a way that few other business laptops do. It’s a great size and weight for carrying around every day, doesn’t compromise with a rubbish keyboard or touchpad, and the combination of the ingenious Yoga design, ThinkPad build quality and a decent stylus...

So I bought this laptop back in July 2016 for my first year of pharmacy school since our school stopped providing Lenovo Thinkpads. I loved my purchase though! It was working so well. I even recommended to my classmate to get this laptop for the new school year. AND she did!

I really like this product. Everything is good..except for the audio. I feel that the quality of the audio speakers could be better. Otherwise, no problems. I have still yet to use it more. I have used it in classrooms and at home.

This became my daily driver about a month and a half ago and so far I am very pleased with my choice. Like any laptop in the Thinkpad line, the machine is well built and feels solid, while still remaining lightweight.

I managed to snag this Yoga ultrabook on sale about a month ago, and it's everything I wanted it to be. It's lightweight, high performance, and versatile. The pen and touchscreen interface are perfect for graphic design, and the performance specs are wonderful for PC gaming.
