If you have tight space restrictions, this is your refrigerator. I also didn't want door dispensers, but still an automatic ice maker, and this fit the bill. So far very nice and quiet. A huge improvement from the builder model we spent 15 years praying would die!
PROS - Keeps food cold, well done Maytag. CONS - Will arrive wrapped in some kind of saran wrap that leaves a horrible rainbow sheen on the outside. Only way to remove the sheen it is with Goo Off.
I choose this product because in the past the brand was a symbol of good quantity. However, since purchasing my stainless refrigeration, I have completed changed my believe of this brand. Rust started to appear on the doors within three months after I purchased the refrigerator.
Yes it is quiet. But the reliability is poor. Maytag products feature parts that fail faster than light bulbs. You won't have to change the light bulbs inside this fridge because the switches will fail first, or else the circuit boards.
