Currently, there’s no Minolta anymore and the Action EX series can be bought at a different price point, around the 150 EURO, even though the optical properties got worse and quality control decreased (e.g. not all air-to-glass surfaces are coated).

narrow field of view with mediocre sharpness on edges,, a bit truncated exit pupils.
Solid well made binoculars. However, its optical performance leaves a lot to be desired. The image is bright, but details are washed out. Also sweet spot is quite small, if you take into account the narrow field of view (5 degrees), this is pretty bad.
The lens and eye piece caps have a really loose fit. They fall off without much effort. Other than that these binoculars are excellent.
