Great receiver that delivers power needed for my Klipsch speakers and sub woofer. Using a amp made for a stereo system that includes a output for the sub woofer is the way to go. Don't use a receiver that is for a home theater for your stereo system.
The SX-N30 sounds great, offers all the connections and options I need in a stereo receiver, and it looks classy. It also has one of the best owner's manuals I've come across lately -- clear, concise, easy to follow -- that's rare these days. The problem is the unit's anemic wifi.
I wanted to upgrade my 20 year old tuner amp without compromising the overall look, feel and sound of my separates system. This unit fits the bill perfectly and brings wifi and Bluetooth to the party.
quality and clarity of sound
limited bass - needs a sub-woofer
So far, it is proving to be a great purchase - really smooth sound, powerful and full. Wi-fi set up OK - probably straightforward after the first time of doing it. CD playback through the amp is crystal clear with wide dynamic range and huge frequency spread.
Elite has always been a beautiful product in terms of quality and performance. I have several other pieces. A solid performer with ease of use.
I was happily surprised at how well this receiver sounds! I'm using Bowers and Wilkins bookshelf speakers and they pair up nicely. I listen to music most of the day and consider myself an "audiophile".
Very stylish unit. Easy setup using manual. Found and connected to home Wi-Fi with no problems. As expected from other reviews the sound is awesome. I enjoy the iPhone App to control the Stereo from anywhere in the house changing inputs, volume and powering off.
It is performing as expected. JG in CT
Everything I wanted in a 2 CH receiver. Sound is great for an 80 wt. unit, USB and apple work as advertised. Running KEF Q300's bi-amped, love it.
Pros: 1) 3 trigger out ports 2) one of the two Optical inputs has wake-up function upon audio input signal detected. 3) Reads HDD's formatted with NTFS file system. 4) Internet radio stations can be added to Favorites using both remote and control and a PC with Internet browser.
