Pioneer VSX532 A/V Receiver

We wanted a receiver that was easy to use without a lot of bells and whistles to complicate things. That is exactly what we got. It was very easy to connect everything and it's very easy to use. It doesn't produce near the level of sound of more expensive receivers but it's enough for our needs.

I was very impressed with the VSX-532 receiver. It was much better than the surround sound receiver I replaced it with. Very easy to set up. I especially liked the mike enclosed to automatically adjust the speaker settings. Powerful sound for a fair price. I would buy it again.

Just got this hooked up and working. So simple. The automatic speaker setup feature was really cool and it set the levels on my 5.1 speaker arrangement so it sounds great. Video pass through is perfect. If you have non-hdmi inputs, you need to download and read the manual.

I bought this amp to replace my 30 year old Pioneer 5.1 amp. This one is much more than my old one. The sound is great through the hdmi connections. If this one last 30 more years it would be great. We shall see.

Bought it to use in our poolhouse in June 2018, and it stopped working in January 2019. It overheated too quickly and the hdmi light started blinking, even though I dod not use the hdmi port with the receiver.

Really enjoy it, great one for low cost.

Excellent A/V receiver for the money. Replaced a worn out Bose system with this receiver.

A very good receiver. This one has blue tooth as well as amp output & optic input. This unit is very tall so make sure you check measurements against where you plan to put it.

Looks really cute but I have not set it up to judge the sound quality.

You will not find a better receiver at this price point. This receiver sounds great, and has tons of features for a $200 unit. If you don’t think of yourself as an audiophile, and you just want a great receiver for a great price, this is all you!
