Samsung KS9800-Series 78"-Class SUHD Smart Curved LED TV

We get pitched on a lot of new products and technologies here at TechHive. Every now and then, something great pops up. But most of the better mousetraps we see are over-hyped and/or relatively trivial. You might say we’ve become a bit jaded about it.

Color us impressed, and then some. Watching high-quality 4K UHD HDR video on this TV shows what all the fuss is about.

The Samsung UN65KS9800 is an excellent all-around TV. It combines outstanding light output with a great black level to produce a beautiful image no matter the source--in both bright and dark viewing environments.

In some important respects, Samsung’s new top-of-the-line TV improves upon the company’s previous flagship, and at a lower price.

Reviewing TVs used to be a lot easier. Just a few years ago, plasma sets were known for their superior blacks, LEDs were known to be brighter and thinner; and the very best technologies were reserved solely for the flagship models from a select handful of manufacturers.

The KS9800 is Samsung's hard-hitting flagship series for 2016. It delivers a ton of HDR goodness.

Whatever the cost is of this TV --it is worth it. No glare!!! Viewing from all angles and the picture is spot on!! User friendly and the sound is good with just the TV speakers. Added surround sound and it is even better. Everything you would want from a TV.

Quite simply the finest television that I have ever viewed, be it when streaming using a Roku device or receiving content via Directv. Worth every penny!
