We've had the Samsung Frame on the wall for about 6 months now at our new house, and I have to say I love it. TV installed like a dream on the wall, something I didn't expect, and the picture is really top quality.
Finally a solution I've been looking for. I don't watch TV much and hate seeing the huge black screen overtaking my living room. So having Samsung Frame on the wall, surrounded by other artworks makes it look so much nicer. I love the art provided by Samsung, but also the ability to use my own.
Very appealing tv, great picture and speaker that emits a surprisingly crisp sound. It often has issues connecting to the WiFi when playing music, streaming video or browsing... it can become very annoying at times. Extremely disappointed in its inadequate connection.
Pros: Fits flat against the wall, very thin TV. Will tilt a few degrees left-right and front-back. Good quality picture. Art mode is not going to fool people, but it does look good. Set uses very little power in art mode.
In Art Mode, during the day it looks indistinguishable from art. So much better than a black screen. At night, it looks a bit back lit but much better if you choose art that is dark with a matte that is dark. In TV mode, It is a TV.
I actually like this Tv a bit more than I thought I would. At first hang, I didn’t get the art vibe from it. The wires were exposed though. After I ran the wires into the wall, it resembled art a lot better. Picture quality meets expectations as well. The smart functions are snappy.
Overall I am happy with the TV, however: TV is actually quite thick. Not sure it took any engineering marvels to make this TV. if you go into best buy today Samsung has many other models on display which are a lot thinner and cheaper as well.
Turns off by itself while watching TV.
Just as billed. Loaded family pictures and am very satisfied.
Do NOT buy any samsung smart TVs if you don't want any advertisements shoved down your throat. There are inescapable, unblockable, unavoidable ads in the MAIN UI of this tv. Everytime you do anything that brings up the UI, like change inputs, settings, anything, you will see an ad.
