I needed an amplifier to power the two speakers I had and listen to streaming audio (Chromecast audio). Works perfectly, and the sound is very clear and powerful.
A little over a year ago, I made the mistake of buying a stereo receiver at a national big-box chain. It was their "house brand". The brand name is insignificant (get it???). It did the job for awhile...it lasted 1 year and 2 weeks. Yes, it died shortly after the warranty period ended!
Great sound driving my Klipsch speakers
None, other than I should have bought it in the first place
I set this up and it worked immediately. I use it for private listening next to my home PC. It is attached to a CD player and to my shelf speakers in Stereo. I like the sound, clear and devoid of static.
Easy setup., Great sound for the price.
I was tired of the "home theater" 5.1 or 7.1 too many channel receivers..always screwing around with them, desperately trying to make a turntable or music in general sound somewhat good for the garage system...
I would have brought something high end if money was no object but my neighbors seem to like it just fine or at least they're not complaining.
For the price it's a good deal and sounds good with a pair of nice speakers. I brought it for a house party and everybody thought it sounded great. But maybe that was the High Voltage Rock n Roll rattling the building..
The remote doesn't come with batteries
No phono input...You will have to buy a pre-amp..Unless your turntable has a built in pre-amp...
Wasn't prepared to spend a fortune, but wanted a basic, quality receiver to hook good medium power speakers into. Delivery quick, packaging excellent.Set up was easy, the controls couldn't be simpler and have a nice feel. Sound is strong, clear, pure. Tuner works as it should.
Bought this to replace a 20 year old unit in my garage. Sounds more clear running thru the same speakers. i like the quick easy functions.

I recommend to anyone with confidence
Perfect fit for what I needed. Did not want 5.1, 7.1, etc. Want to drive a pair of speakers to listen to music. House is on pilings and my hang out area is underneath. Running Klipsch Reference 15's and sounds very good.
Excellent value, easy to use, good power to run a pair of speakers, connection for iPhone/Sony devices. It is in a salty environment, so it will be eaten up eventually. No big deal at this price.Great deal, definitely would buy again.
Wish it had a usb connection. Blue tooth would be good too. But at ~$125 on sale, can't have everything.
