Sturdy, well built binoculars
For Bird Watching these are the best binoculars I have ever looked through. I have tested all makes but even the most expensive are no better. I expect they will never need to be replaced by me in my lifetime as the build quality is beautiful.
Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Simple Controls
Excellent optical quality. Bought these for bird watching & they don't disappoint. Highly recommended.
Optics, accommodation, focussing are top quality. Colour rendition is very good. They are comfortable and rugged. I would recommend these binoculars as excellent value to anyone.

After many months of searching and reading reviews I eventually purchased a pair of Vanguard ED 10X42 binoculars. The feel and quality is very good, a little heavier than my old pair but that makes them feel like an iPhone (well built and dependable).
After a long period (2 Months) researching mid range binoculars I decided the key elements for my choice was: Price - under £300 Roof Prism (not Porro) Waterproof against UK Weather (Nitrogen filled) Coated Lens (silver) ED Glass (if possible for the price) Bak4 lens (seems to be the standard these...
