I wanted a unit that was top of the line and hope to use for years. I think I got it. Time will tell. Easy to setup and maneuver. The unit is a little deep for my cabinet so I had to cut a hole in the back to allow it to fit well enough.
Easy Set Up, Inouts, On Screen Help, Power
I replaced my RX V3900 which up until now served me well. However, with 4K and especially ARC it was time to update. So far I am not disappointed with the sound or features. I do miss the on screen volume info. The also removed the AC outlets on the rear of the unit. Neither are a deal breaker.
Audiophile quality sound, Has 4K up scaling, Passes HDR content, Yamaha App works great
Expensive, No longer has on screen volume visual, Remote is not back lit
Excellent Atmos Receiver. I paired it with a 5.1 Surround Bar, Sub, 2 Rear presence Speakers and 2 Front Presence Speakers - All Polk. Make sure you have enough speakers for Atmos sound otherwise you're probably just throwing money away.
I recently bought this receiver to power my def tech bp9080x speakers, and sound was awesome. Setup was easy. Receiver app for mobile is very good n useful. Highly recommended.
I love my receiver. I need to buy more speakers to take adantage of all the features. I love Yamaha. I always had yamaha. You cant go wrong. The app is great too.
This receiver Rocks... Great for introductory enthusiast's like me... Intuitive setup and amazing performance... Can't say enough about how well it performs.
I could fill a page on the great features and quality build but honestly what really sets Yamaha apart from the others right now is the smartphone/tablet APP. The user interface is intuitive all the way around, you can change modes fast with the app or take your time & dig as deep as you wish with...
I converted to Yamaha after serious problems with the last two receivers I purchased. They both were from a different company. This receiver is superior in design and sound to anything I have owned in the past. The interface is great and it sounds fantastic through my Goldenear HTR set up.
Excellent Sound, Great Gui, Powerful Output
None So Far
RX-A2060 could be the best receiver in Yahama's Aventage V60 series. Paired this receiver with Kalipsch in-wall speakers for the home theater set-up. Amazing sound quality and video up conversion. Easy to set-up with YPAO and the 3-D calibration take the sound quality to a next level.
So far so good. I've had the unit now about 3 weeks. Very clear on music and blue ray movies. No issues on 4K pass thru 2.2. Very easy setup. I would say the microphone setup is so so. I ended up tweaking the sound setup to all my speakers. I'm running 7.1 Klipsch Reference.
