This is a great 9+ channel receiver with powerful functionality. The DSP chipset and construction of the amps deliver wonderful customizable sound quality from Atmos soundtracks to classical or rock. My 90's era receiver now functions with the Yamaha as an external amp to deliver sound outdoors.

This unit has all the bells wand whistles you need and them some. Setup is easy. The GUI is easy to use and understand. The sound is good. <br />There are minor issues with the YPAO speaker setup not being consistent in distance setup.

I have had the unit for 3 weeks. The sound is great. The set-up app provided by Yamaha made the set-up very easy. The downloadable set-up operation manual is easy to read and to maneuver. The control app likewise is well designed and easy to use.

This is my 4th Yamaha Receiver and it's an amazing upgrade from my Aventage RX A2020. The audio is much more refined. Localization is much improved and Dolby Atmos and DTS X sound absolutely amazing. Super easy to set up. YPAO got the distances right on my speakers on the first try.
