love these handy things. have 4 of em. fits anywhere. good pic, i add a tiny bit of sharpening in post to match other higher dollar cams. audio is robust. handles loud applcations like drum overhead and band levels well. has mic input so you can feed wireless receiver into it if u need.
This is a very cool and compact video cam. It is easy to use and does get very good quality audio recording of my bands gigs. It does eat batteries rather quickly, and I am having trouble finding the A/C adapter for this unit
Very intuitive and easy to use. Video looks like 480p, which is sufficient for me. Audio is excellent, with robust bass, unlike the anemic GoPro. The addition of continuously variable recording sensitivity solves the issues I had with the previous Zoom which had 2 presets and a poor AGC circuit.
Certainly for the price it's totally incredible. Extremely small and light! Easy to use and intuitive controls. Yes the AA battery life isn't great but so far I've had success powering it via an external battery. Very happy with this unit.
this COULD be a great product for musicians wanting to record practices, live gigs and so forth, but it is lacking everything you need. All of the peripheral items need to be purchased separately. i had to purchase an SD card, power cord and i-pad card reader to upload my videos.
The camera works just as described, and the audio quality is great. The video on the other hand, not so much. The auto light settings are useless, and each time I've used the camera it comes out either washed out or grainy. Even without those issues, the video quality is similar to a cheap cellphone
I am a musician. I play the piano and the drums both on my own time and as a member of the worship team at my church. I bought this for few reasons. First to record the worship team practice sessions to hear how we sound and also so I can go back and review any new songs we practiced to get a better...
The unit is compact and the menu setup options are very simple to figure out. The problem I have with it is the video quality, which is pretty poor which makes this an unusable solution for my needs. I'll be returning this one and using a GoPro with a microphone adapter instead.
The camera and the sound is very nice, but I gave it 4 stars because I had to buy a supplement monitor since the Zoom Q2n's view display is on the opposite side of the camera lens. Even if it was on the same side as the lens it would still be too small to see yourself while recording.
This is a great little camcorder with excellent sound. Also there are many audio and video settings to choose from to set the unit just the way you want. I was running it on two AA alkaline batteries but I also purchased a a 6' USB cable which can be used for different settings or used as a power...
