ASUS 17.3" Republic of Gamers G752VY Gaming Notebook

Vapor cooler. After recently checking out the "entry-level" configuration with the G752VT, it's now time to move up to the G752VY with Asus' vaunted vapor cooling solution. Is this really a revolution for notebooks or just another empty marketing term?

  heavy at almost 10 pounds with a thicker build, fans are not necessarily any quieter from using the vapor cooler, GTX 980M with 4 GB GDDR5 VRAM instead of 8 GB GDDR5 VRAM, more difficult maintenance, costly

I am writing this as someone that will use this laptop for occasional gaming, but mostly photo work because of its IPS display. The main problem is that the laptop will not utilize NVME drives from a fresh installation usb drive. ASUS is aware of this problem, but there have been no fixes as of yet.

This laptop has been amazing so far, no issues since i received it. Any gamer that wants a laptop with great performance and amazing cooling would love this product. The G-sync monitor is the perfect touch for this beast.

"Excellent Laptop" ASUS Wins. Was a little concerned ordering this laptop due to some questionable reviews. All my fears have been relieved. From the time I turned this system on till I set it up with my programs I have been nothing but amazed at how well everything went.
