The Asus PB287Q is a reasonably priced 28-inch Ultra High-Definition monitor that delivers stunning 4K imagery and handles fast motion with aplomb.

Relatively affordable. Outstanding Ultra High-Definition (UHD) image quality. Solid performance and feature set. Fast pixel response.
-
-
So-so viewing angle performance. Slightly skewed greens. No USB ports.
The burning question is of course whether or not you really need a 4k monitor. And truthfully, the answer is no. Trust me, the PB287Q is a phenomenal piece of kit with an insane resolution, but running anything at 4k is going to require a fair amount of GPU power, so in addition to investing in this...

+ Gorgeous high-resolution display,+ Incredibly quick refresh rate,+ Makes 4k affordable to the average user

- Requires supremely powerful machine to render properly,- OSD controls are awkward to reach
ASUS’ business scope does not only include PC components and notebooks, they’ve also expanded their portfolio to include things such as networking products and desktop monitors as well.

Excellent colour reproduction, 60Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution via DisplayPort, Great features like Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture

Many applications don’t scale well with 4K resolution, Price
The ASUS PB287Q True 4K (UHD) Monitor retails at RM2,499, it’s not a monitor that I would recommend for work purpose mainly due to the IPS panel. As a monitor for gaming, I think it doesn’t get any better than this.
At first, we feared an affordable 4K monitor would be a disappointment, but the PB287Q has defied all our expectations. It offers the kind of balanced, all-round performance that makes it suitable for everything from everyday use to dabbling with photo and video editing, all the way through to...
You've gathered by now that the PB287Q and monitors like it represent a new class of desktop display. If you're looking to upgrade or to build an all-new system, this monitor should definitely be on your radar.
Let's just start with the obvious. 4K is awesome for professionals. My raw 18-megapixel photos can almost be shown at 100 percent zoom on a 4K monitor, as opposed to a 1080p monitor that just shows a small portion (less than one-fourth).
The growth and adoption of 4K resolution panels (most commonly 3840x2160) has really been the biggest story of the past year or so in the world of PC gaming. After a couple of TVs that ran at 3840x2160 over HDMI at 30 Hz found there way into our offices, the first real 60 Hz 4K monitor that I got...
The PB287Q 28-inch 4K Display is ASUS’ first foray into Single-Stream Transport (SST) displays and we think they hit a home run with it!
A quality 4K panel, with a great price and some neat extras.
As someone that tends to game a lot on their PC, running both old and new titles alike, as well as games from all sorts of different genres, I needed a monitor that was not only accurate in colors, but above all else, fast. Display lag - specifically, input lag - is a killer.
This is a great 4k monitor for the price and the quality is top notch. The only knocks against it is that it's a TN display and there is backlight bleeding For 60fps gaming though, it's great.

Fast refresh rate, 4k, Price, Adjustable angles/height

Not IPS, The menu buttons are positioned oddly in the back, would have preferred it in front
-Scaling is a little weird some times. It will take a little acclimation but when the program supports 4k resolutions this monitor shines!
-
+
-No dead pixels

- Some desktop programs scale weird, but that's due to the resolution and not the actual product. This is why I noted it's a good product to start out with for 4k.
received the product with dead pixel but returned it for another one. monitor is amazing. watching 4k is crispy clear and sharp.
Im loving it, this is a great asus monitor, that 3840 X 2160 resolution at 60 hz is amazing for gaming
all i can say is get this monitor! Gaming resolution is a 60hz at 3840x2160. This is as fine as it gets!!! AWSOME
Extremely good price for what seems like a solid 4k monitor.
