Use this mic on an altar for Mass. It has performed very well so far. It has a long XLR cable which is good to have. It needs phantom power to operate.
These boundary mics are just the thing when you have multiple speakers for instance. I put two on a tabletop while the presenters were using their computers and the audio was clear and crisp, with no hint of feedback.
Used three of these for a town meeting in a room with terrible acoustics. They worked great. One of the mics sounded a little bit metalic but I think that had to do with the soundboard we were using. In a small conference room, one mic covers the entire room.
