Benq 28" VA LED Eye-Care Monitor (Black)

I bought this monitor for my wife to do online college instruction from home. She was so impressed with it I purchased her another and set up a dual monitor system for her college work. I have not used it for gaming or graphics work. It is used exclusively for college classes & office admin.

I purchased two of these monitors for office work mostly focused on excel and coding. They work perfectly for those applications and provide plenty of screen space to stretch out an Excel notebook. My wife thinks they are that is in front of me now.

Overall, the screen is good. Using it with my Macbook Pro. Interestingly, the resolution is much better when I have the display set on the Mac display rather than the BenQ display; I don't know why, but when the computer is set on the BenQ display, it looks very pixelated.

I liked everything about this monitor except ... the HDMI ports stopped functioning within four months. The monitor itself still worked, but had no way of accepting a signal. I had it on a surge suppressor, as well as two computers that fed the two HDMI ports.

Great picture for both gaming and computing. Haven’t run latency tests yet but I don’t notice anything so far. Problem is that it has no remote and the selection process for tuning and changing inputs is horribly tedious.

Excellent colour, contrast. gamma BUT quite serious light leakage all the way down the right hand side.

I have purchased quite a few of these for my company and I personally use two of them. They are nice and bright, provide a clear image and perform very well. They are a great price for the quality.

I bought this product for computer use, not for gaming. It was very nice, and exceeded my expectations, in terms of colours and speed of response, and the size of the monitor. I would buy this monitor again if I needed another.

I loved it until, after 5 months, the screen began to dim to nearly black. I replaced the cable and seemed fine for about 20 minutes. When I turn it on, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I expected better, so didn't keep the original packaging so warranty is worthless.

My experience with BenQ monitors is very positive. High quality and long lasting.
