The Blue Microphones Yeti offers high-quality recording in a USB microphone, making it perfect for a home-recording setup that isn’t ready for a dedicated studio.

Excellent sound quality. Flexible design with multiple microphone patterns.

Overbuilt stand makes mounting the microphone awkward.
As its name suggests, the Yeti is big, imposing, and has near mythical abilities. But unlike its Himalayan counterpart, Blue Microphones’ newest USB podcasting mike is most definitely real.

Sharp, clear recording in all four settings. Stereo setting yields dizzingly dynamic results for podcasting. Bidirectional setting yields audio more intimate than an afternoon in Victoria’s Secret.

Gain, headphone volume, and pattern-select switches on the mike’s body are awkwardly placed — makes them hard to get at when the mike’s in its stand. Using hefty mike for field work probably not a wise idea.
While at CES this year I had the opportunity to spend some time at the Blue Microphones booth. One of the products which really “wowed” me during demo time was their “Yeti” microphone. The Yeti is being touted as the world’s first THX certified Microphone.
All in all a great microphone. Just a bad company that sent the microphone, don't do business with Focus Camera. It is past my 30 day return policy and still haven't gotten a word out of them.

This microphone is a fantastic mic for whatever you need it for.

It is quite a large microphone and if you have a microphone suspension of any kind you need to buy the yeti specific boom or it won't fit in anything else. Make sure all of the options work, that was my problem and I am still trying to get mine returned.
The Blue Yeti is a great choice for a USB microphone, and about the best one can buy. I have no qualms with it, and the build quality is amazing.
The Yeti is a really great mic, not only in its price range but overall. The quality of sound, the ease of use for adjustments to recording style, and the real-time headphone connection, make this mic a must have for podcasting, voice-over and even recording live music.
Looking for a professional, high-quality microphone? With multiple settings for different usage, I highly recommend the Blue Yeti.

Need a USB microphone that will record sound so clear you could publish it? Look no further. The Yeti is the best around.
This is my second purchase of this product. The first was to setup a recording studio for a friend. Then I had to have my own. I already use Rode mics and Zoom recorders for my filming needs. But I use this Blue Microphone Yeti for in-house work and voice-overs. This is a great piece of equipment.
excellent....easy to setup, great sound , and the best is the company who sold me this mic. honest people, professional, with a lot of integrity.
I do a lot of conference calls, web presentations, and demos all of which I run from my Mac or MacBook Pro. Plugged it in and that was it. It sounds great and is really easy to use. It's a little big on the desk, but then that's to be expected with a mic of this quality.
muy buena.quiero saber si envian a la argentina
The THX microphone is a winner. Excellent gain variance, clean sound quality overall at all decibals, zero trouble interfacing with computer. Solid physical body, great workmanship, good balance on the weight distribution, hard to knock over.
