I am so happy with this Bosh micro wave .......I have had for 6 months......... no problems what so ever with this product and looks beautiful in my kitchen!
Heats things quickly and does it's job well. I think the price is ridiculous but it was the only one that fit in a specific place
Don't buy it! My unit failed twice in two years after the one year warranty was up. The door has an internal plastic lever which activates the "close switch" for operation. Over the course of time, you must slam the door to get it to close and operate, then it eventually fails and the door never...
Four years ago we did a 7-month remodel on a 50-year-old home and wanted great appliances for our brand new kitchen. We were offered a good deal on a total Bosch package from our local dealer.
If I could give zero stars I would. As others have described, this overpriced POS will run for about 5 seconds and then shut down. It's barely 3 years old. I have $99 microwaves that have been running for 20 years. What a joke. Bosch should be ashamed.
Piece of garbage. We bought this as part of our brand new house (built 2015). With a little less than 2 years of normal use (family of 3), it stopped working. It needs a new transformer and a new control board for a total of ~$800 of repair costs.
What a piece of Junk. It failed within 2 years of purchase. First turn table motor failed and few weeks later microwave does not cook /heat and turns off after few seconds. If you are searching for high end appliance spend more upfront and get wolf, subzero or viking.
We built a new home and installed Bosch appliances. I purchased the microwave so it would match the oven and trim. This unit is expensive and is poorly built. The door switch does not always work and one must beat on it to get the unit started.
Agree this is a piece of crap, not Bosch quality AT ALL. have had for 3yrs and it's been broken for more than half the time, replacing is close to $500. RUN RUN RUN away from this Bosch HMB5051 2.1 cu. ft. 500 Series Built-in Microwave Oven - Stainless Steel
We purchased this microwave when we bought our 2nd home. This was used less than one week per month for five years before it died. The replacement was $620. The repair was over $400. What a rip. We replaced it with the LG LCRT20ST for $149. Do the math!
