Prints, scans, faxes, and copies. Automatic document feeder. Ethernet. Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi Direct. Duplex (two-sided) printing.

Output quality is at the low end of the range for its category.
The MFC-L2700DW offers a very low cost per page and high text-printing quality. But performance is slower than average across the board, prints with graphics could be more attractive and copy quality is subpar.

Low printing costs, Faster-than-average black-and-white photo printing, Faster-than-average startup time, Large-capacity paper tray

Slower-than-average text and graphics printing, Slow scanning speed, Subpar copy quality
Using it primarily to print and rarely copy. Have not (probably will never) use the Fax functionality. The Setup was pretty easy and printing from laptop wireless is very good. We also used the app to print from Android and iPhone and that worked well also.
After 6 months I still haven't been able to use this thing on my wired network. It will only recognize the default computer it was set up on. All others have to have the drivers reinstalled every time you go to print or scan. I use 1 wireless device and it works fine. So tired of buying printers.

Good printing qualities. Great for faxing

Doesn't work on a wired network
The printer was fast and easy to set up wirelessly. Software installation took a little longer than expected but installed effortlessly. If you are looking for a monochrome all in one this is a DEFINITE buy!
The printer is very good for quantity. I would like it better had it been a color printer. Also, I have not been successful with being able to scan documents. I'm very computer savvy so this is a bit of a disappointment.

Nothing
Print quality is descent. Default printout sitting is little too heavy. The software come with the printer was not for Windows 10. You have to call the tech support to help you to download a correct version of software and driver to make the network connection to work properly.
We limped along with our old printer for too long. So glad we bought our new Brother printer. We got black/white only, no color, how often do you really need clor copies? We are seniors, the instructions we easy, no need to ask the grandkids for help
