I love espresso, but I can't justify going to starbucks right now or buy a super expensive or big machine, and this old school percolator has done the trick. It makes amazing espresso which I drink straight up or chill and pour over ice. Love it.

Really useful, perfect size for traveling and functional.

One of the most important things to control in a moka pot Is the time the hot water is in contact with the coffee. This electric pot has no temperature control and therefore a blast of boiling water hits the coffee, not achieving the concentration needed for near espresso.

Have given one away to a friend who was blown away by the flavor that this Alicia makes. Only downside is the "lid" that covers the coffee, very thin and it bends easily. The older style had a much thicker lid that did not warp.

This is the best espresso coffee maker for everyday quality espresso. I use this everyday at work with my colleagues. We use a cuban coffee roast espresso with four exact teaspoons of sugar. This product is high quality compared to less expensive brand models.
