Before the arrival of gaming-targeted hardware and nearly a decade before Razer, there stood a company whose magazine ads left gamers longing. Alienware has been in the business since the era of Doom and floppy disks, so it’s surprising to see them drag their feet with the monitor market –...
Alienware has once again made a fantastic product – this time a gaming monitor. It looks great, both from a design point of view and in use, and will make an excellent addition to the desk of any serious gamer. Alienware has once again made a fantastic product – this time a gaming monitor.

Expensive, Not great viewing angles, Only 1080p
For years the Alienware brand has been synonymous with high-end but pricy pre-built gaming desktops and laptops, but over the last few months Dell - which bought Alienware in 2006 - has moved the brand towards the accessories market.
A 240Hz displays go they few are more exotic looking than this one, or can deliver that refresh level with a 1ms response timing. The caveat of this one is that it’s almost exclusively for those people who have invested in AMD GPUs, or don’t care about adaptive sync.
has long been synonymous with high-end, albeit pricey, pre-built gaming desktops and laptops, but over the last few months Dell ( , we heard how Alienware plans to "own the room" with mice, keyboards and monitors in addition to desktops and laptops; the idea being that gamers will never have to use...
It's a nice monitor but it's a bit disappointing that the pictures show led lighting on the back of the monitor but it doesn't actually feature that. I bought this one specifically for the led lights.
This was a much more noticeable upgrade from my 144hz monitor than I was expecting. Not only is it faster, but it also has better colors and much less of a "washed out" effect at high refresh rates. It has measurably improved my hitscan accuracy in high speed FPS games such as Quake titles.
This monitor is the best monitor I have ever had besides my old AOC monitor, I was looking for a good monitor 1080p monitor with 240hz but mostly that it had the Sharpness setting on so I can put it to 100% sharpness this how you get a crisp better quality HD video than other people that record in...
Love this monitor. I play a lot of Fortnite currently and the vision I have now is amazing. I can see enemies further out then I thought possible. I have dual monitors and the other one is a Benq gaming monitor but the text on web browsers is much more clearer on the Alienware.
That is false works perfectly fine no issues or screen tearing. Make sure your video drivers are up to date. Initially plugged in it runs on 60hz. To change this on (windows 10) right click on any open space on your desktop. Click display settings. Scroll down click advanced display settings.
Coming from a 144hz I was not sure if I would significantly see a difference. I will tell you that it is noticeable. I truly enjoy the picture quality of this monitor. I searched a few setting's calibrations, and after research found one that suites my needs well. 5/5 would buy again. Great product!
I am a office / financial modeling guy, not a gamer, and this monitor is EXACTLY what I needed for home office productivity. I have multiple laptops that need to be supported off this monitor, and having 5-6 input sources on it allowed me to seamlessly switch between laptops. Recommend it highly.
My adult so loves this !!
It’s an amazing monitor don’t get me wrong but if you try to customize the settings to much on the monitor itself you’ll get a decent amount of screen flickering
