Epson WorkForce WF-4640 Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer

I am very disappointed as I have only had this printer since October which I do not feel is long at all and I have had multiple issues that I was able to get resolved but for the last month or more , my papers are printing with smears on them which looks very unprofessional.

I had a lapse of judgement when I purchased this. It has been my standard to only get Laser printers because of all of the issues I had with ink in the past. This was even worse! Just 2-3 months after the printer started to skip lines and no amount of in machine or manual cleaning has been able to...

After about 500 pages the heads clogged and a streak developed. Looking on the internet this is very common. Tonight is the 3rd attempt to clean the heads. Total 10 hours into the project over the past year and I am in the process of taking Epson to the garbage. Never again. Do your research.

Color output is not very dark. Definitely NOT a photo printer. Print output is fast though. The scanner is EXTREMELY SLOWWWWW. Was very disappointed in that feature. Best feature is its printing speed. Very good black and white output, OK color, poor photo printing.

It arrived sooner tham expected. This is the third one if this model I purchased. It works flawlessly and the ink consumption is beyond belief. The color XL catridage lasts about 11 month and the BW about 6 months. I only can highly recommand this product.

As many other reviews have stated, expect terrible banding (white lines) after more than two years of even light use. Nozzle cleaning, turning up the print quality (slowing down the print speed) won't help. A waste of money.

This printer has been used for a home office where we don't do a lot of printing. The bloody thing has been a POS from the start with print quality, s/w update issues and huge $$$ for the ink. Don't buy, don't use and - for me - no more Epson products.

The printer was for our home business I've had to have the printer replaced from Epson THREE times! THREE DIFFERENT ISSUES! It would work well for awhile then I had to call Epson. I have spent HOURS on the phone and every time the issue was with Epson's printer.

Purchased in January of 2016 for home use. Late 2017 it was acting up. Unable to update with errors printing. I called under warranty and they ended up replacing the entire setup. Early 2019 the replacement stops printing, error code 97. It is now out of warranty.

I bought this printer 3 years ago. Despite maintenance, the quality of the print is at best mediocre and, most of the time, poor. The ink is expensive. And now I am getting an error message that there is something wrong with the motherboard. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER.
