This washer and dryer performs like a larger unit within a small washer and dryer footprint. If you don’t overload the machines they perform quite well in a small area. We have them on our top (bedroom) floor between bedrooms and are perfectly hidden in the wall behind closed doors.

It's a good value for the price. The only thing I don't like about this dryer is the lint trap being inside the dryer door. It takes a extra step to get all the little pieces of lint off the inside of the door and the lip of the dryer.

  Hard to Clean Lint Filter

This is a fairly basic dryer, and it works well. I mean, most people don't need something with a ton of features. This does have a few like air fluff that doesn't use heat, and different settings for delicate clothes. There are 4 different heat settings.

This dryer seems acceptable for everyday use. The door does seem to be harder to shut than normal, but maybe just needs to be broke in. Have had this a month as of end of July. Lighter loads dry 1st cycle, heavier loads or heavier clothes (jeans) seem to take at least 2 cycles.

Daily use for multiple loads of laundry. It's very quiet compared to my old dryer. I don't think it's worth the price I paid.

  Flimsy Construction

This is a basic dryer that does the job it was designed to do. When we first got it and started using it, I used one of the preset drying options. After about a year, I realized that this option took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to dry one load of laundry, which was way more than was needed.

The GE Dryer is wonderful. It has a large capacity and runs very quietly. You can even adjust how many warnings you want when your clothes are dry. All clothing dries very quickly (especially towels) which will make this very energy efficient. It has many settings to suit whatever you are drying.

I have this dryer at home! its awesome! doesn't run our bill up. not sure on the long lasting of it, because we currently rent, and im not sure when it was bought, but I dry a load of clothes a day! so its been holding up for almost a year, which is bout how long we have been here.

This dryer works as described! It is fast and quiet. The lint filter is easy to access and clean. I would recommend this dryer for any family.
