I play lots of styles and this baby I use for anything. I've played the ES-339 also and it's nice, but there is no comparison aside from the size and style. This Custom Shop gem is my main guitar until my final breath on the planet.
For many years I had coveted one of these beauties and and after saving up ( for a long time) managed to get one from the states in a turquoise quilt finish. Les Paul guitars are one of the most recognisable guitars in the world and have a long and incredible history.
Firstly, I should get one thing straight. The LP is made of solid mahogany so it's very heavy. Despite having a very thick and comfortable shoulder strap, I still find it difficult to play for long periods of time.
I always dreamed of owning a genuine Gibson Guitar. i decided to save some pennys and after a few hard months i had enough to start to look at some of the cheaper Gibson guitars and a visit to my local music store was in order! i looked at a few models but the SG special really stood out.

Mine is a 2000 Les Paul Standard (United States). Instead I play rock, blues deluxe fender tube amp.

This has to be one of the coolest Gibson Les Paul guitar that I've seen. It has a great feel a great look and overall great balance to it. The mahogany wood body in the mahogany neck coupled with the rosewood fretboard gives it a nice beefy and sick tone.
United States, 1993 UTILIZATION it is a Les Paul, so it's no surprise, but what I wanted SOUNDS So we are in the trick: I have a good two weeks before trying to find it. the others had not Mojo!
