Gopro HERO5 Black

In tech, two years is a long time to wait for a new product. But that’s how long GoPro took to introduce its new flagship camera, the Hero5 Black ($399), and naturally, expectations were high. In truth, we weren’t aching for a new Hero camera because the preceding Hero4 models are still very good.

As another reviewer said, the image quality of the Hero 5 is just appalling. A lot of noise even in sunny conditions, even with ProTune turned on and set at 400ISO max. Indoors - totally unusable, the low light performance is abysmal. We have tested it for two full days days on all modes.

I bought this while overseas and had to return it.It is garbage. Absolutely useless.The video quality is worse than a cheap android phone.It has very bad digital stabilization that does not work at all.

I had my hopes for this to be a great product. I owned the Hero3+ Black, Hero 4 Silver and now the Hero 5 Black.The video quality is the same as hero 4 session. Low light quality is still garbage. Narrow mode is still terrible.The sound quality is worse than the hero4. I tried all settings.

Received the GoPro 5 brand new this week, opened it up, popped in the battery and turned it on to see the screen. Looked great. Plugged it in for initial charge up (3+ hours) and it never turned on again. Removed the battery, tried another plug, different outlet, no response.

so I ordered the GoPro first day it was available. came in in a matter of 2 days (BH is great as always) and opened up my package with excitement. Although first impression said it is a solid product, as soon as I got it out of the package trouble started.
