I love this guitar. Its very easy to play and sounds great.
I got this guitar and yes, its good, however THIS IS A BEGINNER GUITAR if you like to really rock like the string gears will slip all the way to Georgia. also the action is so freaking high on it you gotta fix that.

Cons, Poor Quality Craftsmanship
Music World in Thunder Bay, Ontario for $340. I bought it because it was on sale and I wanted an electric.
I bought it off of musicans friend for $159.99. I really like it. Its my first guitar and I've used other people's Ibanez guitars and this one is a good quality one for a great low price.
I was looking for an inexpensive electric guitar, not having played for about 5 years. Spotted this one in a pawn shop and thought it looked almost new. Paid $120.00 The most important thing I like is the feel of the neck. Very low action with no string buzz.
Played for about 10 years then quit for about 20. Picked it up again about a year ago. Bought this guitar at Guitar Trader in San Diego, Ca. Paid 149.00 and they gave me extra picks, cable, cleaning cloth I like the sound when playing some classic rock tunes and overdrive.
I bought this beauty, brand spankin new for $180! I like Ibanez guitars. I'm on a budget, so I passed on the higher end deals.
I got this guitar from Musiscians friend of the internet. For a mear 150 a price that may be a little low for this guitar, i think.
I bought this guitar for my son as Christmas gift. He's been taking guitar lessons for 4 years. Now he only uses this one for practicing every day, and played in recent school concert. He really enjoys it.

Pros, Good Feel, Good Pick Up, Good Tone, Solid Electronics
This has the chic look, and a good, chunky sound. This is a very good guitar. Satisfied with this for as long as it will last, and it seems to be built to last. This guitar is a very solid and well constructed guitar for a very great price.
There seem to be a large disparity and differences when it comes to the . Many say they love it. Others hate it. I fall into the "Love It" group, and truly love this instrument and in the 12 years of owning it, it has yet to let me down.
I've been playing about a year. I play mostly Metal. Thrash, Speed, Metalcore, and of course heavy. It fits my styles well and even though its cheap I like this guitar so much better than even my dads Fender Strat because its possible to get a much better sound as far as palm muting and other things...
I am just beginning to learn to play the electric guitar. I have had this guitar for a month now and was a great deal with great sound. With duel pickups and a great color scheme i enjoy just looking at as it sits on the stand. I would give it two thumbs up. Really enjoy the rock distortion.
= metal. Perfect for me even though I like to sneak some blues in every once and a while. In all my 3.5 years of playing I have never come across a better deal for a name brand yes that's right name brand guitar that was so cheap and sounded like a god touched it.
As a stan-alone guitar, this isn't great. However, as a beginner's guitar, it's pretty awesome. It's basic, but is durable and has a good sound. It's withstood more than a year of mostly active playing, and is still going strong.
Bottom Line: Dont get this guitar, its done more bad than good.
Overall: This is a great buy, if you like any kind of rock or metal and want to play quality music-- without paying half a fortune. I've been playing for a year and a half now, and also play the keyboard and am in the process of learning the drums.
A great guitar for you beginners. If you want to shred, or basically play any style, this guitar can suit your needs.

Good for starters, and good for all styles

Nothing
I play mostly metal and thrash, this guitar fits the bill perfectly. I have been playing for a short time. But for the price and the quality compared to Squier Strats or Epiphones for the same price, this guitar is the obvious choice.
My overall impression is this is a great guitar for beginners and advanced students. You can get any sound out of it that you want. If this were stolen I would buy a more expensive guitar just because I have a expensive one and know how much better it really is. Beginners get this!
