For 179 you can't beat it I've always loved klipsch brand and think it's a great value for the price I upgraded from the 10â version from about 7 years ago which the amp on that one started to give out and so far I'm impressed with this one hopefully they updated the amp since then other than that...
I replaced my old Yamaha 7.2 home theater receiver and upgraded to the latest Yamaha equivalent (RX-V6A). After letting the new receiver do its auto speaker configuration I immediately noticed that my old Polk PSW-10s were not handling the new Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Surround signals well at all --...
Awesome sub for any room. The bass is earth shaking, I have to keep it less than 50% on the subwoofer dial, anything more seems overwhelming. Great bass separation and the built in amp is without any distortion right from the get go. Im sure it will improve with hours of play.
I coupled this sub with my two RP-280R's and the sound is amazing. I had another old sub of my friends and was told to pair this sub with my tower speakers. After a little adjustment I was able to fill in where the 280's have a hole. Used a frequency generator and sound analyzer for adjustments.
A lot of subwoofer for the money. It tests and sounds great. The sound is powerful but not boomy down to 30 Hz, then response drops off quickly and is inaudible at 25 Hz
This is by far the best sub I have ever had, seriously awesome room shattering bass. DO NOT listen to any bad reviews, I doubt they are even real, that or have hearing problems. I have been a serious audiophile my entire life, my set up is a Denon receiver and all Klipsch reference speakers.
It's nothing I can say but this subwoofer is absolutely a beastâ¦So much bass at low and hi levels.
I use this as part of 7.1 Sony system with other Klipsch speakers. This is a solid woofer. We can crank this up and not get any of that cheap subwoofer overdrive rumble noise. I'm always embarrassed for people who want to show off their movie system and the subwoofer rumbles, with distorted sound,...
Hits hard! I love Klipsch. This replaced a Velodyne that developed a hum. Works great with my other Klipsch speakers
Great performance even at a moderate volume level. It can be heard outside my home in the driveway at mid level volume. I have it connected to a 5.1 Sony TV surround sound system. If bass is what you desire, this is your subwoofer. Test movie was Top Gun. The product is well made very well.
