The Surface Pro's gutsy design successfully reinvents the Windows 8 laptop by cramming an ultrabook experience into the body of a 10-inch tablet. Those wanting to go all-in on the tablet experience won't regret buying the Surface Pro, but we're holding out for a future, more polished generation of...

The Microsoft Surface Pro fits a full ultrabook experience in a compact 10-inch tablet. Thanks to the ingenious Type and Touch covers, it offers a comfortable interface and typing experience. The clean, crisp design and sharp 1080p screen rise above the competition.

The battery life is disappointing, and more ports would be nice. The 64GB model barely has any free storage. It costs as much as a regular laptop, especially because the cool keyboard cover isn't included by default.
Microsoft's attempt to combine a tablet and an Ultrabook has been a success in almost every respect when it comes to the Surface Pro. The significantly improved processing power which is effectively identical to that of an Ultrabook, comes at the expense of a few significant disadvantages though.

The Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Pro is the Windows 8 slate tablet to beat when you need the performance and convenience of a PC in a compact tablet form factor.

The Surface Pro is very similar to the Surface RT because it is made with the same design and the same surface (called VaporMG), but you just have to study it carefully to become aware of some differences: it is thicker than 4 mm (13.5 mm in total), weighs 227 g in most of his younger brothers (with...

Screen very nice, original design, Windows 8 and 64bit Intel Core i5 enclosed in the form of a tablet, Wacom pen.

Overweight use as a tablet, Battery life is insufficient, Noise and heat sometimes annoying, The absence of a suitable accommodation for the pen.
The Microsoft Surface Pro isn't just novel, though that certainly is part of its appeal along with the sexy design and high quality look and feel. It's a landmark marriage of computing power and portability.

Classy and good looking, great build and materials, fast, clean Windows 8 Pro install, comes with digital pen, 1080p display, wildly portable for a Core i5 machine.

A little heavy for a tablet, a bit small for a laptop; but a valiant attempt at marrying the two. Battery life passable but not laudable.
It seemed so long ago that I first laid my eyes on the Microsoft Surface, the company’s first branded laptop that aims to showcase what Windows can do for mobile computing. It was something different, revolutionary even, from the design aesthetics to the practical use of the cover ♥♥♥ keyboard.
Microsoft met some resistance with its first Surface tablet, but that isn’t stopping the company from making a second attempt, this time with a full copy of Windows 8. Where the Surface RT left would-be tableteers confused with its partial app support, the Surface Pro is Windows on far more familiar...
The Surface PRO on a fundamental hardware level is fairly sound. It meets the needs of your average user, but may not appeal to people who need a high-performance machine. If you do casual website editing, blogging, small bursts of gaming, or browsing the internet, you should be OK.

HD Display, Stylus, Windows Legacy Support, Audio and Video Codex, CONS
The Surface Pro is an interesting hybrid of a tablet and laptop. Unlike its little sibling (Surface RT), which is considered more of a tablet, the Surface Pro has more affinity to the ultrabook.

“Microsoft’s Surface Pro fails to solve any problem for any user.”
This Microsoft Surface Pro (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB) is an amazingly powerful device! We are using this for both general computing and graphics work in our small business. Here are my observations: Pros - + Quality; this is well made and durable design + Speed; very fast processor that runs as...
Awesome! I wish I had purchased one MUCH sooner! In addition to all the great features and ease of use, I especially like that I can keep it powered on during airline flights from gate to gate. It is not considered a "larger portable electronic device," so I do not have to power it down or stow it.
Very happy to have this--it's lightweight, so I carry it around the house, in the car, on planes, etc. The battery lasts me several days before needing a recharge even though I just shut the screen down and rarely turn it off. The flexible keyboard takes getting used to. No repairs in 2 years.
Bought it right before starting school and it was great until I went on winter break where it stayed in its case/my backpack only for me to turn in on 2 months later and the touch screen no longer worked on the top/left side (depending on how it was being used). Literally waste of money.
Bought this primarily for digital art and its been phenomenal! The pen (not included) works great with the screen and is a must to get the best out of it. I now use it as my daily laptop and have had no issues with the performance. Highly recommend for work products and digital artist.
Everything is accurate besides the LTE. The model I received doesn't have LTE at all. There isn't even a slot for a sim card like it should have. Don't waste your time if you need LTE.
Pretty annoyed that I brought this device and it turns out it doesnt support Windows 11. They should have been more clear about this. Returning it.
Power charger died after six months of use. Would not buy again.
So that you know before you purchase this product. It will not take the new Windows update windows 11.
I’ve had my surface for several years but started using it frequently this year. Out of nowhere the Wi-Fi stopped working and I wasn’t able to detect any networks. That issue was fixed; however, things like this shouldn’t occur in the first place.
