They're light, easy to adjust to your eyes and face and wonderful to take on a hike to birdwatch or watch for whales when walking on a coastal trail.
So far so good. Clarity is exceptional. Only issue - eyecup covers are way too loose to be of any protection. I would rather have tight fitting covers than easy off. Otherwise, like them. Can't wait to use them on the lake to check out the various duck and bird species.
Good clarity, easily and quickly adjustable for various focusing lengths.
eye cup protection covers, too loose to be of use.
Great feel in the hand. Easy to focus and attain the target. Bright-especially in low light conditions. Overall-I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase. I got the 10x42
Sent in a 12 year old pair of monarch 8x42s for the eyeglass to get replaced due to scratches. I was expecting to pay a little bit, but boy was in wrong! Sent me a brand new pair of monarchs at no charge! Couldn't be happier with nikon and their warranty support. Thank you nikon!!!
These binoculars blow my 10x50 Adlerblicks out of the water. They are noticeably clearer, sharper and more usable. They are a clear upgrade from the Monarch 3's. The compound lenses and better coatings make a real visual difference.
I have been very pleased with my purchase. I used them last weekend at the inaugural Indianapolis Grand Prix Indy car race for the first time. Great clarity, can't wait for my annual fall fishing trip to Montana.
Close Focus, Lightweight, Multiple Uses, Quality Lenses, Works Well With Glasses
These binoculars are excellent value for money. The image is is sharp and bright and easily brought into focus. The best binoculars I have ever owned.
An excellent set of binoculars that are easy to set up and use and extremely well made. As for the magnification, they are probably the highest you would want to go to (even for bird watching), anything greater one needs a steady hand or a tripod!
They do need a stablizer for the image to be stable.
Holding them stead is almost possible, so you need there Tripod attachment. Nice and light, with a great image.
