Amazing speakers. One of the best out there. HOWEVER These are not magnetically shield, I realized this after my external hard drive closes to one of the speakers failed. Emailed the company to find out that they are not magnetically shield.
Super clear sound. I use them for my keys, Electron Maschine Drum and for vocals run through a TC Helicon vocal processor. Everything sounds great through them. For the price I don't think you'll find a better pair of studio monitors.
Excellent monitors at a great price. I was worried about these not having enough bass, but I've found I don't even have the room acoustics to hear all the low frequencies these E5s are putting out, so they are fine for my current needs. The acoustic space correction switch is really useful as well.
I use the Eris E5 with my keyboards in my home studio. Absolutely fantastic detail and very powerful for 5. A must have for keyboardist with small room looking for great monitors. Add a PreSonus subwoofer if you need to crack the plaster like I did! not kidding
I picked these up on a recommendation from my Sweetwater rep, and was not let down. These units are small, no doubt, but they pack a reasonably good punch with great clarity. Like all acoustics, you'll need to fiddle with placement a bit, but you will find these perform great in almost any...
Scooped low-mids, hollow overall. Flattering. Weak. Constant hiss unrelated to the volume on the unit or any input. These are not a good choice for regular low-volume use. They pick up some kind of buzz/whine from my GPU during gaming--if one should want to use them for that, be aware.
These are excellent sounding and suprisingly robust little speakers. I play rock and metal guitar and need something that would give a true representation of a distorted guitar tone. The mid frequency range can be so peaky on a lot of speakers that sound otherwise fine for other material.
Really enjoying these speakers. Look great, sound great, priced great. I mostly purchased them for guitar track playback and listening to music. No extensive mixing/mastering, just basic rough tracks for writing new songs. Definitely handle what I need them for.
This is my 2nd pair and they are great little monitors for the money. A little "congested" when played at loud volume as small monitors can be, but at any reasonable level, they reproduce good detail and balance for their size. The ability to mildly equalize to environment is nice .
These little monitors deliver in a BIG way. They highs are amazing, very clear. Not a lot of bass, but enough to satisfy my need. Use them every day at my home office. Highly recommended.
