The NVMe protocol certainly delivered all it promised. The technology has reduced flash latency to the host system, and that has freed up access times as well as throughput ceilings. The 950 Pro has leveraged the technology so well that running two drives together just slows down the storage system.

Doubling capacity and increasing data integrity are still good use cases for RAID in the home.

Increasing performance through RAID 0 no longer has the same shine it once had. NVMe SSDs are fast enough to satisfy the most demanding user needs. We've hit a point where RAID 0 run off of a chipset gives diminishing returns.
Highly recommended for anyone gamer or not. The time savings in overall productivity will surprise you. I am not a gamer by any stretch and don't intend to be. I wanted to try it for myself and see if just normal daily use would make something like this worth the investment.

Right off the bat I'm not a gamer. I got this for the getting work done faster where getting work done on the computer means waiting for software to finish, load or save slows you down in ways you think little about. I do.

In booting it's not blink of the eye fast. However it has cut my TOTAL OVERALL boot time to a few seconds, 10-12 from a couple of minutes (almost 4minutes). The true limitation is W10, all the drivers, and the garbage it does.
My old desktop I built lasted 10 years and is still running, but it is definitely showing signs of it age. Apps take a while before they open, shutdown and restarts take forever so I decided it was time to re-task it as a home server and to build a new system for everyday use.
This is an amazing SSD, performance for value is worth every penny. I am amazed at how well windows runs on this SSD, no hiccups and its very fast. Worth every penny for sure. No issues yet and is very easy to install. The motherboard recognized it no problem.

- Easy to install (depends on motherboard) - Instantly recognized by system - Incredibly swift boot and disk I/O performance

- Something that I didn't know ahead of time, is that using m.2 x4 SSDs will (on nearly every motherboard) disable a few of your regular SATA ports. There are only so many PCI-E lanes (depending on your motherboard chipset), and these SSDs are able to have MUCH faster performance than typical SSDs...
I recommend this if you don't want to lose time in front of your PC.

Got this to install my OS and it boot windows in less than 10 sec. Fast.

None.
Worked out perfect, exactly as I hoped it would perform

Was Easy install on my ASUS STRIX x99 mobo installed windows 10 on it , runs fast no issues

Boot windows on one of these and you're good to go. My motherboard was able to recognize the drive and install windows to it without any issues.

-Lightning fast

-Expensive but that's just the way things go
I used first one before when I built my own system, so I upgrde to my wife PC her motherboard did not have slot support, I put by PCIe card , installed very good and stable performance

--I've got 2 of these in RAID-0, and finally upgraded to Windows 10 with this build. It boots so fast that I honestly don't know what the loading screen looks like :-) --Removing power cables, 3.5" form HDDs, and SATA connectors made for a clean looking build with outstanding airflow.
