When analyzing the results of our benchmarks, it is important to keep in mind that the SanDisk SSD PLUS is a value product and does not compete directly with the Corsair Neutron XT, which is a performance SSD.
Steer clear of these SSDs; they offer nothing but disappointment.
Do not buy Sandisk products, support was terrible and made OCZ support look like a walk in the park when I RMA'd a drive to them. Sandisk offers no data recovery (Seagate and others do) and the turnaround was TWO WEEKS. No advanced replacement was available.

Very poor quality, cheap plastic case
Only a few weeks into using it, but the disk performs flawlessly here a few weeks later. It was not easy to find the transfer software. Expected it to be on the drive itself, but I had to go to a website to download it. This should have been on the drive or much more clear in the documentation.
Great SSD, its fast and works well. The thing to be aware of, I did have to install their software to get my pc to recognize the disk. I have a different brand already installed in my computer that was immediately recognized and expected the same from this SSD.
Got this in early January 2016 for a 2008 Macbook. Cloned my internal drive to it then swapped it in. First boot up was slow but been nice and quick since - making the machine feel snappier.
I researched SSDs for a few hours and this was one of the highest-rated drives in its price class. Installation was simple but I had to use an external SATA-to-USB adapter to clone my existing Windows 7 installation directly.
This little 240Gb solid state drive delivers the same read/write stats as more expensive drives, and at a lower price. Installation and setup were super easy, and I'm very happy with the performance.
