Seagate 3.5" Seagate Expansion Desktop USB 3.0 2TB STBV2000300

Fast reliable drive. However, The only odd thing to me is that there is no drive specifications other then its USB 3.0 and 5TB. I would think there would be speed and buffer details.

I purchased this device to store a LOT of video data on (our creative services media department), hence why we opted for the 5 TB option. We purchased it May 4, 2016. By Nov 7, 2016, accessing the drive is impossible.

Bought it to store and stream multimedia. Unfortunately still requires to use DLNA server to stream bluray quality videos when connected on USB 3.0 interface with samba file sharing. Not a defect from the product itself but from the protocol, so I give it 4 stars.

Seagate has always performed well. Will plug it in tonight. Was just a little surprised that the envelope has so little padding. Great as always! works right away the way it should.

I shoot thousands of photographs of birds, wildlife and landscapes. The images fill my computer ram and hard drive very quickly. I have found these External Hard Drives work well for me in keeping my computer free of too many gigabytes...

At time of purchase, the 5tb was the same price as the 4tb! Does everything it's supposed. to, my only complaint with these drives is they have a non-standard USB connector. Doesn't bother me because the drive will be plugged in and left, but for those that travel with it, it could be annoying if...

Cheaper than other comparable drives. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Bought this for my Xbox One console and it is absolutely perfect. It can store hundreds of games and is easy to set up and use. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs extra memory for their Xbox One, PS4 or PC/Laptop

That's it really, 5TB harddrive, connects easily enough.
