The device is acceptable manufactured. Very little instructions on how to use the device. Its trail and error trying to figure out what writing the device will convert from ink to text. Once converted to text there is no way to change back to ink.

Better used as a coaster! App never worked Therefore wouldn't sync

Though we havent had it long, I bought this for my adult son for Christmas and he LOVES it. It is everything it said it was going to be. Easy set up. I am thinking of getting one for my husband. My son said it was amazing to be able to edit his notes in PDF text!

Please be aware the product may work very well with ipad's, unfortunately cannot complete the set up process if you use an android device. Reading online and Wacom are unable or unwilling to resolve as many people have the same issue.

Difficult to set up - I gave up in the end and returned it

I was very disappointed with the Slates ability to convert handwriting to type, the main reason why I bought it. Returned.

The concept is great and when it works it great. But syncing from the slate to the app is just to too hit and miss for it to be useful. When the misses became more than the hits it was time to give up on this device.

Works really well. I'll admit I wasn't sure if this was going to do the trick, but I've created quite a few illustrations with it and they have come out well. Really handy for tracing over and adding to photographs, and sketching out ideas to share with other.

I read a few of the negative reviews first and this nearly put me off buying one. I'm glad I did however as it's a great piece of kit. I use it for work and now exclusively take notes on the slate rather than any notebooks: I'm badly organised and with the slate I know where everything is.

Would give a negative number of stars if I could. What's right about this device? I can't think of anything right now. I have been looking for years for some way of writing notes on ordinary paper and having an automatic electronic copy made.
