REVIEW – Last year, I reviewed the Wacom Cintiq 16 tablet , which was (at the time), Wacom’s entry-level tablet with a built-in display. Now, there’s an even newer (and cheaper) Wacom One display tablet which almost makes the Cintiq 16 irrelevant.

It’s a great addition to a digital workflow, Half the price of the Pro model, Easy to use once the prefs are figured out

  • -

    It’s still expensive, Quite heavy

One thing I want to emphasize most about the Cintiq 16: the brilliant HEAT DISTRIBUTION. Some tablets, such as the Cintiq 13HD, have substantial "hot spots" that make it difficult to draw without a glove due to the device making your hand even slightly sweaty and then sticking to the surface.

This drawing tablet is perfect for what I need it for, my mother and I own a t-shirt business(Tin Roof Rusting183 on Facebook). The Wacom 16 is bigger than I anticipated, the central tech I went to had a much smaller Wacom and I loved it, it has decent quality, I do recommend using it with an Apple...

This was my first art tablet with a screen and honestly I couldn’t be more pleased. There are obviously more cheaper options to start with, but I say if you got the money to put down, I would definitely spend a bit extra on this tablet. It’s a very nice size and and not too small or big.

Whether you're a beginner looking for a tablet to start learning digital art or a professional wanting to upgrade from a graphic drawing tablet, I don't think you can wrong with the Cintiq 16. When I first bought this 2 years ago, there were some weird driver issues but they've long been fixed.

This tablet is amazing. I completely recommend. I went from using a screenless Wacom tablet, to an iPad with apple pen, and now to this Wacom Cintiq 16. This, in combination with the stand, is absolutely fantastic. The best program I've found to use with this product is Clip Studio Paint.

I love my Cintiq 16 and use it every day. The only shortcoming is the lack of shortcut buttons like in other models.

My daughter prefers this tablet over the bamboo brand. She is an art major and has been using the bamboo drawing tablet for her projects until i gifted her this one for chritmas 2021. I guess that she will retire the bamboo tablet in the very near future.

I bought this to support remote meetings where I am leading design workshops with stakeholders. It allows me to have a shared whiteboard I can capture or present ideas on over a remote call. I use it with various software available for this: InVision Freehand, Google Drawing, etc.

It’s a very cool piece of equipment! Looks amazing, and feels amazing to draw and write on. I highly recommend getting a 1/2 glove to put on your hand so you don’t get fingerprints all over the screen. I used to draw on an iPad Mini and it was so awful..

I was very disappointed, I expected a better quality for a high end wacom tablet. Was very hard to draw into very small details, a paper and charcoal pen does a better job and it's cheap. XP-Pen was much better drawing details and Huion and more than half the price cheaper.
