Whirlpool WTW7000DW 4.8 cu. ft. 28 Inch Top Load Washer

Have owned ours for over a year now. I believe the negative comments have to do with the energy/water-saving features of the machines. I recommend reading the owners manual. Also we wash almost everything on the "deep water" option. If you don't you will have the issues described in other reviews.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing a washing machine without a agitator this machine has been the best purchase of brand, value and technology ever for cleaning with spacious room for cleaning large comforters & bulky items that normally wouldn't fit with a agitato.r

This is a low water wash machine with no agitator. It has a hot water setting, but it will not use straight hot water. Government regulations dictate water settings for wash machines. This machine takes 75 minutes to wash a load however the capacity is at least double of my old machine.

This washer is in fact nice a quiet. I had read reviews saying that it was to loud. This washer is more quiet than my old one and the touch part is awesome. People also said that sometimes the touch part doesn't register your touch but I haven't had any problems with it at all.

This is our 2nd cabrio washing machine. Our first one lasted 15 years. Like everything else these days, you can tell this one will not last as long as our previous. We hope we are wrong. Of particular annoyance is the “drawer” you have to pull out in which to pour the detergent.

My family love this washer. The motor burned out of our old Kenmore. I already knew it was time to purchase another washer, so this give me the justification. Whirlpool out performs Kenmore. I saw the difference with the first wash. My laundry is much cleaner and fresher.

Overall I've been pleased. I've been careful to not overfill the machine, but there have been a couple of instances where stains (such as toothpaste on dark clothing) have not come out. I've had the machine for less than two months, so difficult to provide a definitive review.

A fine washing machine easy to use. Large enough for bulky comforters. This machine is quiet and an effective cleaner... The spin cycle gets the clothes almost dry, but not wrinkled. I have been happy with how it works so far. I highly recommend this product

The washer is quiet and has useful settings. I'm pleased with the quality of the machine. It's efficient and the clothes come out clean and not wrapped around an agitator. All high-efficiency washers require soap made for high efficiency, so be sure that's your detergent!

Took we a while to get use to it, but it washes very well and I'm not wasting alot of water. I am enjoying the amount of clothing I can put in the machine and I definitely enjoy not hearing my old machine banging all over the place.
