Not too loud, pretty easy to set up, works quickly. The hardest part is the hot and cold lines, they are difficult to set up and not easy to move around. Comes with great storage protector. If you run it most of the day, it lasts about a week before you need to dump out the water.

This unit does not shut off the compressor (cooling unit) when the temperature reaches the setting I set. For example if I set it to 75 degrees it keeps cooling and the temp keeps going down to below 60 degrees. Basically you can either turn it on or off.

Had to tape a piece of cardboard onto vent to get cool air to flow out in any direction other than straight up. It is extremely noisy even when only on fan. And even louder when A/C is on. It does blow cool air but we cannot stand to leave it on all the time because the noise never stops.

This machine is AWESOME. Easy to set up; I did it myself. Cools 400 plus square feet with high ceilings on the second floor above the garage very well. Highly recommended.

Overall for my purposes it's functional. This unit is vented through a window of a 400 square foot second story bonus room. On reasonably warm days, high 70's to low 80's, average humidity, it fairly quickly cools down the room and makes it more than tolerable.

Pros: Easy to install. Looks nice. Easy to operate. Cons: Does not cool as much as advertised. Takes the edge off a hot day if you run it day and night, but does not really make the room cool. Noisy even at a low fan speed.

After the first day of arriving and use, there was a foul odor coming from the unit. Chemical in nature, kinda like ammonia and rubber. Continued use for a week, in case it was just new-product funk. Smell persisted. Contacted manufacturer, they said it shouldn't smell.

After 1 month the entire unit has died and is no longer functional.

The unit has not kept pace with summer in the Southwest. When the temperature is 80 degrees, then no big deal, but it struggles when it's 90-100+. I've owned it over a year now, and I am experiencing a similar problem with long cooling times and mediocre airflow.

I am not happy with this unit. It is advertised to cool 550 sq ft, but it takes hours to slowly cool my 250 sq ft bedroom. I thought the dual hose thing was a good idea, but in operation I realized that it was bringing in 95F air to cool the condensing coils.
