Excellent piano, especially for someone like me who has dabbled over the years and wishes finally to learn how to play with both hands and not just the ears. It is a great hybrid of quality piano, entry level arranger and self-teaching instrument with the best in class/price point feature of a...
Easy to Use, Portable, Pre-programmed music, Realistic Sound, Responsive / Good Action, Touch Sensitive Keys
Straightforward, easy installation! Needed this to complete my Yamaha DGX660 piano setup. It allows me to play classical pieces the way my teacher says how they should be played. The DGX660 is a portable grand piano, but I don't take the 3-pedal when we travel.
This portable grand is definitely one of the best you can find in the market today. I enjoyed playing it and my hands never get tired even after playing for more than 5 hours. The LP-7A works great but it does not have the assignable function like that of the Clavinovas.
Easy to Use, Realistic Sound, Responsive / Good Action
I`ve played on a Yamaha DGX-650 in a music store a while back. I pressed the buttons for for the different instrumental sounds on it. They are a nice portable digital piano to take along. It has lots of instrumental sounds on it.
Not quite as solid as other Yamaha products, but they do the job.
I am a semi-experienced pianist, but for me piano is just a hobby. I grew up with a VERY old upright piano, but I love the flexibility of keyboards to play different sounds and add rhythms.

Heavy, Poor Action
This instrument could be a very good one (for the price) but with the lack of some very simple features yamaha makes an instrument the resembles more a toy then a real instrument. Let me make this clear: if you want a piano then this is not the instrument you should buy!
The versatility of this product and the modest price is what won me over. My last new Yamaha piano was a PF85 which I still have. Truly a great keyboard for writing and final arrangements. I am a happy camper...thanks Yamaha for another fine product. Don P.
Easy to Use, Portable, Realistic Sound, Responsive / Good Action, Touch Sensitive Keys
Piano furniture arranger 88 keys heavy touch GHS Yamaha. Good product overall, I regret only the lack of midi in and out ports on the back of the keyboard. However, it has a "USB to HOST" port for connecting to a computer.
I primarily use this for practice at home. I have taken it to concerts and performances, but it is a hassle. This is a very heavy instrument. This is a great instrument though. It is the best personal keyboard that I have used. I do wish that the keys were a little quieter though.
